What's it all about?

We're a small, community driven organic store in Ivanhoe East called The Little Vegetable. We're doing what we can to create an environment for people within our community to positively impact their lives and the world around them with the products they consume. We want to promote looking at consumption consciously, with a heavy focus on the products we promote in store being ecologically sustainable. We stock organic, but we also heavily feature locally sourced products from small businesses. We believe supporting local as an ethos and a lifestyle can have a profound impact on the world, and want to be a part of the societal shift towards that way of living. Connection is so important right now - to each other, to the food we eat and to farmers and farm workers, ensuring they are supported so that they can thrive and take care of the land that we all share.
